In this project, my co-authors and I focus on cultural entrepreneurship as a strategic resource. In particular, we intend to find out how new ventures and entrepreneurs alike can use texts or visuals to influence evaluating audiences, such as consumers or investors. A prime illustration for this idea is our 2020 paper in JBV, where we look at Indie Game Developers and how they try to narrate their game idea to potential buyers. Most recently, our work focusses on non-written narratives, such as visual or spoken ones. We will hopefully be able to share some working papers in the very near future.
